On November 14, 2019, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Warsaw, the thematic seminar “Market for RES and Energy Efficient Technologies in Poland” of the Polish Foundation for Energy Efficiency (FEWE) was held. It was followed by a networking session. The meeting was a part of a two-day visit of a delegation of Taiwanese companies from the green technology and renewable energy industry.

The seminar was officially opened by Ambassador Weber V.B. Shih, Representative & Head of Office, Taipei Representative Office in Poland. After the opening remarks the Expert from Euro-Centrum PLC presented the opportunities for the development of the renewable energy market in Poland, and Green Building Council Expert presented the perspectives for the Polish ecological construction market. Seminar participants also learned about the challenges facing LED street lighting systems, which were presented by the Expert from GRADIS Ltd. The experiences in the development of cooperation between Taiwanese and Polish trading partners were introduced by the representative of Solar-Expert Ltd. The Taiwanese delegation received information about the opportunities of marketing support offered by the Polish Energy Efficiency Financing Program in Residential Buildings (Poland-REFF) that were presented by the Poland-REFF Expert.

After the seminar, a networking session was held, which gave the opportunity to direct exchange of experiences and establish contacts between representatives of Taiwanese and Polish companies.

We hope that the visit to Poland will result in many business contacts, and the products of Taiwanese manufacturers will speed up the development of green energy industries in Poland.
