According to the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOSiGW), on November 6, a 200,000 application was submitted, which exhausted the billion budget of the “Moj Prad” Program of subsidies for photovoltaic micro installations. However, the NFOSiGW does not close the recruitment, but adds PLN 100 million, which should be enough for another 20,000 people. Applications can be submitted until December 18.

“We are not surprised by the huge interest in photovoltaics and the avalanche of applications for subsidies up to 5,000 PLN. I am glad that our society is becoming more aware that ecology simply pays off. Using your own electricity, produced from the sun, translates into savings in your wallet, but these are also measurable benefits for the environment. Investments in a renewable energy source as part of “Moj Prad” will contribute to reducing CO2 by as much as 1,000,000,000 kg/year” – said Minister of Climate and Environment, Michał Kurtyka.

The program will be continued in 2021, and its new version will provide a wider range of opportunities for potential beneficiaries.
